INFORMATION SECURITY
What you need to know about fraudulent emails

Esker takes website security very seriously.

As a user, you also have an active role to play in ensuring the security of your information. Are you having trouble logging in? Do you think you’ve been a victim of fraud? Below are some important details you need to know.

Recently, fraudsters have been sending emails to a handful of Esker on Demand (EoD) users impersonating Esker — a practice commonly known as “phishing” — as a way to recover your EoD login information. These emails contain false information and may be related to a call from alleged Esker employee. These emails may also ask you to click on a link to update your database.

Have you received?

  • An email with or discovered a copy of an EoD website?
  • An email asking for your EoD login information?
  • A call from an alleged Esker employee who does not know your customer or contract number, or who asks for your email address?

If so, we recommend that you:

  • Do not click on any of the links.
  • Do not open any of the attachments.
  • Do not respond to any of the emails.
  • Do not call any of the phone numbers listed in the emails.
  • Contact Esker Solution Support teams: https://www.esker.com/support-services/support/
  • Forward all emails to Esker.
  • Immediately change your EoD password.
